The jacket has softened at the hinges and the heel and crown of the spine. The heel and crown of the spine have softened, and the bottom corner of pg.3 of the text is creased. This copy of The Winter King is near fine/very good.
The dust jackets are each price intact, bearing the UK and CAD prices. The exposed page edges are clean and the internal page edges show tanning typical of British publications. The books sit squarely and the corners of the boards are sharp. The books are bound in full blue cloth with endpapers decorated by a map of The Kingdoms of Britain specific to that volume. A very pleasing, complete set of Cornwell's Arthurian series with no markings by a previous owner or retailer.
LAID-IN to each copy is a matching, peel and stick bookplate SIGNED by the author (3x3.5 inches). 1st printings of the first British hardcover editions of The Warlord Chronicles: The Winter King, 1995 (0718137620), Enemy of God, 1996 (0718100514) and Excalibur, 1997 (0718100573).
